On March 27, 2020, Kidsbridge launched KIDSBRIDGE@Home on our website, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. These posts offer vetted, meaningful, one-on-one family-oriented activities that develop social-emotional skills.

This resource presents parent/caregiver activities to do at home with children.

Teachers may assign lessons for students to complete with their families.

Benefits of KIDSBRIDGE@Home

  • Helps reduce stress and anxiety for adults and kids

  • Provides siblings new ways to act positively through activities
  • Encourages creativity and imagination

KIDSBRIDGE@Home activities last between 10-45 minutes.

Developmentally appropriate skill-building “how to’s” presented include:

  • SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL: Feelings, mindfulness, personal strengths, resilience, empathy                               
  • PROBLEM-SOLVING: Bullying prevention, ally actions, how to be an UPstander
  • AWARENESS of OTHERS: Diversity, media literacy, stereotypes
