Kidsbridge Honored by Volunteer Connect!

Kidsbridge was the recipient of the Community Award by VolunteerConnect during their 2018 Impact Awards and Cocktail Reception on November 8. Four individuals and organizations that exemplify the spirit of volunteerism in Central New Jersey were regaled during the event, which was held at The Boathouse at Mercer Lake. This year’s theme was “The Future of Volunteering.”

As a nonprofit operating in the Trenton area and Mercer County since 1996, Kidsbridge founder and Executive Director Lynne Azarchi was pleased to accept the award on behalf of the staff, volunteers and Board. Executive Director of VolunteerConnect, Amy Klein, noted, “Kidsbridge is an organization that teaches youth to advocate for themselves and others in the face of bias, prejudice and discrimination. Their work continues to be very important, especially at this time.”

The VolunteerConnect mission is to: “…expand the reach, impact, and capacity of community organizations in Central New Jersey.” Other honorees in the class of 2018 include:
