A three-hour program, Building Greater Understanding About Native American History — DECOLONIZING CLASSROOMS AND OURSELVES is being presented Kidsbridge and the Kidsbridge Tolerance Center in partnership with NJPSA/FEA support from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities. All educators may attend.

WHY REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE?

  • Learn about Thanksgiving and Columbus Day to teach the facts.

Presenter Arla Patch is a teaching artist, author, and social justice activist who worked on the Maine Wabanaki-State Child Welfare Truth and Reconciliation Commission. She has partnered with NJ Native American chiefs and Kidsbridge to create this program.
