Bullying Effects Test Scores

According to a study done in Virginia by the American Psychological Association, schools where the bullying climate is more severe report three to six percent lower standardized test scores than schools where anti-bullying is a priority.

Researchers collected results from over 7,300 ninth grade students and 3,000 teachers from 284 high schools in Virginia. Researchers remarked that these findings point out the poor effects bullying has within a school.

You can make anti-bullying a priority in your school by scheduling anti-bullying education programs with the Kidsbridge Tolerance Museum.
