NY to Adopt an Anti-Bullying Bill

After a decade of debate, NY may adopt an anti-bullying bill that would require all school districts to report incidents of bullying to the State Education Department. Assemblyman Daniel J. O’Donnell, the main advocate for the bill said, “What we’re trying to do is nip bullying in the bud.” The bill passed, 58 to 3, by the Senate late on Tuesday June 22nd.
